Chakra Series: The Throat Chakra
Welcome to the third post in our chakra series, where we are exploring each of the seven chakras in depth. Today, we are working with the Throat Chakra.
The Throat Chakra, (also known as Vishuddha in Sanskrit), is the fifth chakra located at the base of the throat. It governs expression, communication, and authenticity. It’s associated with the color blue and the symbol of the lotus with sixteen petals, representing the sixteen vowel sounds of the Sanskrit language. Unblocking this chakra fosters a connection to our true voice and sense of self.
